Hey Pappy, save some for seed, or you won't have any left for next year. :) Just kiddin. Congrats on a nice assist greg. Looks like Sawfiler's got that whole cane arrow thing figured out, that point should be ready to go again. Good job all the way around. You guys may be getting some rough weather tonight, be careful over there.

Any of you northern friends that plan to come to LBL after Christmas...Anthony and I went Sunday and did some scouting. Seems like the farmers left more crops in the fields then in past years. We found some good sign of the deer leaving thickets and headed to the standing corn. Also there is still a lot of corn on the ground right now that the combines left. Good opportunity to hunt from stands on the field edges or approaches accessing the corn fields...bring your stands! ;)

You don't know how bad I wanted to do that hunt.  Well, I'm headed out at 1400 so I'm done for the year.  I'll see you guys on the internet when I get across the big pond.

Well it is Friday again,I had not planed on being at the cabin this weekend,I was going to do my Christmas shopping and spend some time at home with miss Joanie.I ask the first of the week if she wanted to go shopping Sat.She said are you crazy, the last weekend before Christmas. :) So
we went Tuesday and finished up.Then I told her I would stay home and help around the house.
Again she said are you crazy, you will be in the way.So all that being said Iam headed for the cabin as soon as I can get away from here.Don't have a lot planed,I still need to skin the deer I killed
Sat.I have had in in the cooler all week.I plan on doing that this evening and doing some more hunting and finish loading the trailer for the LBL trip the 26th.I have a couple of bow projects to keep me busy in case I get boared. ;) :) I suspect it will be slow down there this weekend due to Christmas,I suppose some wife's want help, just not mine.Man Life really is good. Hope yall have a good one also.See yall Monday.Life is good. :)
