I added a serving and some finger protectors on Marget Ann's bow, much easier for a kid than dealing with a glove or tab when they are young. ;)Then Saturday morning Conner got his Turkey, he was a happy lad. :) While we took what was left of the turkey to my bone pile I collected a bunch of deer bones for future projects.I love that bone pile. ;) :) :) Annie wasn't sure what to think about the dead Turkey.  :)

We had a great time regardless of the weather.  Always fun to be at Twin Oaks.  Connor was a happy camper.  He enjoys coming there about as much as I do.  Thanks for letting him hunt and putting up with me Pappy.  Looking forward to then next trip down.
Hello Pat.  :D  I don't post much but I do get on here to see what's going on.  Hopefully we'll get time to talk and hang out at the Classic.

I'm sure we will, Dave. Congrats to Connor for his twofer.
Pappy, I hope Mother Nature is getting all this rain and bad weather out of the way in time for the Classic. And to paraphrase Dave "great time regardless of the weather.  :OK

Good job on the Gobblers Young Man! Hawthorn makes a pretty darn good Bow Pappy, haven't heard about it in Years. Thanks for sharing.  (=) Bob.

You are welcome Dave, really enjoyed it. Ya Pat hope it dose but as always we will just carry on either way. ;) Thanks Bob, it seems really springy and think it will work out, very light kind of like Yew. I had it at about 40@26 and wanted a little more weight if possible so heat treated and flipped the tips, hope that will pick it up a few pounds, we will see in a few days after it rest for a while. :-\ :)

Congratulations again, Mustardhead! Two sweet birds. Pappy, Doug left here yesterday. He got a nice 19# Tom here after chasing him for two days. I've got another friend coming down Wednesday from Canada to do some hunting before Doug comes back to get me and we head up to see you. We're getting the rain here now, hope it quits soon.
