Headed to the cabin this morning for the weekend, got a few things left to do to be ready for the Saturday shoot, also to try and finish up the new bed I had made for my Kobota, the old one was rusted out so had a flat bed made, going to Rino line it today inside and out and got some cedar cut to mill to make the sides and back rails. We also have a club food and fun shoot tonight which I always enjoy, going to be hot again but still always fun to hang out with the guys. Hope yall have a good one also. Life is Good.

Pappy, it's good to see you are still living the good life at Twin Oaks. I sure missed the Classic this year. Maybe it will work out for us to make it next year. We have our first granddaughter. I guess I'm a papaw now!

Good to hear from you Clint, we miss yall at the Classic, hope you can make it back someday. Congrats on the grand baby, nothing like being a Grand Dad.!!!!!!!! Speaking of grand baby's I had a great couple of days with mine, they came down Thursday for the fun and feed at the cabin and then again Saturday for the shoot, love it when they get to come hang out. I let the guys do their thing and I just hung out with the kids.

We shot the practice range and they love the creek and the fire. Prefect !!! the guys had a tough man going across the creek.

The kids had a ball playing in the creek. Annie had a big time also, she is really growing and coming around to my way of thinking. Think she is going to make a pretty good friend.

Sister is getting slow but still having fun just don't last as long as she once did, guess she is kind of like me.

Made some potato salad , then the shoot started Saturday morning, it was very hot but dry, had 87 come out to bare the heat so pretty good for a 1 day shoot. The kids came back and shot the range, done OK, the first time they shot with no help so coming along with that.

These are the selfbow guys, some of these guys can really shoot. We don't let the club compete but probably couldn't have hung in with them anyway.

Re curve guys and gals. I did manage to get another set of arrows ready for my out west hunt. PO cedar with Ace 160 heads. That's sets for 2 of my bows I will be carrying, 1 to go.

Glad you're enjoying the taters Pappy. Glad to grow em for you. Part of paying my rent.

Hopefully Debbie can get fixed before deer season rolls around. If not I'll be looking at pictures of Twin Oaks. I'll show her the pictures when she gets home from her moms.
