Knife ready for glue up and Bob's bow off the form, the light came back on at the cabin Friday night so I managed to get a few thing done that would have been possible but much harder with out it. I could get by I guess without electric but I sure do enjoy it when it's working. ;) :)

Glad everyone is safe Pappy.

Those straight line winds can really be a problem. They tend to cut a wide path and do widespread damage.

About twenty years ago a really nasty one went through here. Did lots of damage. Knocked down a bunch of barns. Killed Cattle and even a person who was in one of them.

Even moved several of those cement silos we store feed in off their foundations. One was a 30’ diameter by 80’ tall silo.

That’s a nasty wind.

PS Bobs bow is looking nice so far

Wow! Glad the only damage was trees down. That must have been a heck of a storm. It was great seeing you, Rocky and Kevin at the Fling and looking forward to seeing you next month. The knives are looking great!

Thanks Eddie , good seeing you as always, yes they said it was like a cat 2 hurricane 79/80 mile an hour straight winds, just glad we didn't get the rain they got south and North of us before the wind came or it would have been a whole lot worse. Had a good weekend and got most everything done for our shoot this coming Saturday. Took a little time  :) but miss Joanie don't ask for much, she wanted a walking stick in a light color wood so she could use and also mark the grand kids height on it, I took some time and made her one, it is elm with elk antler tip and wrapped handle, she loved it. ;) I need a few brownie point ya know.  ;) :) :)

Also took some time and made a stand for my last knife, then more wood cutting/splitting and stacking, should have enough to at least get us through the Classic. :-\ ??? :)

Got my Yew bow finely tillered, it is 47@26 57inches n-n with himp handle wrap and cow horn tip over lays, really shoot nice , smooth and no stack, the RD design is a sweet design especially for a short bow.  :)

Got a little more to do to be ready for the Classic but we are getting there.  ;) :) got weed spraying this week and 5 loads of gravel coming, that won't stop the mud if it rains like it has before at the Classic but it will help. ;) :)

Then on to setting the ranges for this coming weekend, I think people will enjoy it. I like it better when things green up but it looks ok and is still just a bit early here. :)
