New knife handle glued up and stand made, My girls just hanging out trying to bet the heat. Dan came in with a new set of arrows I just had to have, what better way to spend my Fathers day money. ;) :) :) :) I need more arrows like I need another hole in my head but sometimes they just speak to me. :)

Yew all cleaned up, just needs a few days to re hydrate, knife and stand ready for sealer, ;) then 4 of us hit the practice range.I was shooting my second Osage bow [the knotty one] just to be sure of it before finishing, it didn't disappoint. :) It shop very well and hit where I looked, well at least most of the time. ;) :) :)

Then Saturday the rain came in, after it stopped Brandon/Joe and I hit the range again. I took my knotty bow for a second run and Joe took his Osage he finished a couple of weeks ago, both shot well. :)

Thanks guys, I hope it will work out like I think it will. Had a sad most of the day yesterday, lost my Brother AB Baggett yesterday morning, he had a tough 2 1/2 years fighting lung cancer, he fought hard as anyone one i have known but it won out . He was not quite a year older than me, born 9/19/1951 and I was born 9/17/1952, although he was not an archer and really not much of a hunter he supported me and we have stayed very close over the years, he loved to come visit the farm and just hang out around the fire, very good brother and friend. He will be missed by many including me and my family. RIP AB. :( Beau/Christina and the grand kids came over and spent the day, seeing the next generation carrying on and doing well really helps.  :)

So sorry for the loss of your brother Pappy.

I know my brother is going for his second chemotherapy treatment today. I’m praying he has good outcome. I know I find myself thinking about him often. I’m the oldest of my siblings and I haven’t lost one yet. I’m hoping to put that off for a good long time yet.

Yes the next generation will take their turn.

May all your memories be good ones.
