Sounds like the best possible outcome everything considered.  Up here the snow is piled man high on the curbs, so it's always a little scary pulling out into an intersection.

I agree the best out come, if they can just get parts to repair it in a timely fashion, I really don't need the truck until I get ready for some trips later in the spring and summer, I have an old dodge I use around home and farm so I am good for now. ;) :) I am headed down this morning for a couple of days, it is really cold out so a good fire and some time in the shop is called for. ;) :) Still got my Osage that needs to be finished tillered and  3 knives and stands in the works, ran out of glue but picked some up yesterday so ready to finish them up. ;) Hope yall have a good one also.

Yep BJ I try.  ;) :) Great weekend, very cold but as you stay out in it a while it becomes ok, and a big camp fire helps. Worked on some knives/bows done some back packing and shooting and mostly just hanging out with friends that came out to bear the cold. Here are a few pictures. Got my blade with the broke tang repaired and some stands started for my latest knives.  :)

Blade heat treated and etched and another one started, I plan on this being my last 3 for a while, got to many other things that need to be done and i need to get on them. My girls don't mind the cold at all, they just keep doing their thing. :)

Bucky showed up with a truck load of Osage, getting it split/bark cleaned and ready to store in my barn. Lot of work but will be worth it in a couple of years.  :) Also getting the Mullberry debarked and ready to store. :)

2 stands and knives getting their finish and the last stand started. the blade stops are bone from a deer foot/an end off the leg bone and a cut off from a buffalo horn, always try and use something different for the stops. :) Big A showed up along with Joe and several others and we went out and shot the practice range, good fun in the cold with good friends. :)

The second side went well also, the flakes are from the flute, then the head after he dressed it up, beautiful head and fun to watch. :)

Finely late after noon after everyone left I got my Osage back to low brace to check the string alignment after tweaking, it looks good and ready to go forward with tillering, I do most of my bow work and especially tillering when I am there by myself, just keeps me more focused and i am in no hurry, got plenty of bows.  ;) :)  Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good. :) :) :)

Shoot, it was even cold down here, Pappy!  First time ever I had to scrape my windshield, this morning!
Will’s fluting jig and pictures is fascinating.

Thanks for the pictures Pappy.

Enjoyed Will's flitting night to.

I like to tiller when I’m alone to. Less distractions and more in focus.
