Frog gigging weather to be sure. But the garden plants need a good soft soaking.

Great weekend but man was it wet. Got some stuff done and had fun even in the rain. Few pictures. Spring time in Tennessee and a happy wife is a happy life, you wouldn't think a bunch of flowers would mean much to your wife but it really dose for mine, especially the ones I take the time to pick myself. ;) :) :)

Got all the ranges laid out for our up coming shoot this coming Saturday, the courses were wet but we got um set and ready to go, looks very good, hoping it will dry out a bit by this weekend, it is supposed to.  :-\ ;) :) Got some work done on the sheath for 1 of my new neck knives, just need to pick up some earth magnets for the back side before I glue and stitch them up.  :) Also got my last hide smoked, done for the year I think. ;)

The hide turned out very good and even, not sure what I done different, may have been the punk wood I was using. :-\ but it had better color and more even than some of the others.  :) Then some time out of the rain by the fire with friends. Shawn showed up for some bow work and show off his new knife, turned out great. :)

Next file knife roughed out to shape and handle rough fitted, not sure on the leg bone yet but I think that is what I am going to use. :)  The bow I showed a week or so ago that was strung backwards and bad break on the belly  repaired, not sure how it will hold but had it out to 25 so far and no signs of failure. I got a good feeling in just may stay together. :)

Yep it does Bob, works well, I use my neck knife all the time and have lost several over the years, I don't like to tie or strap them in , just not as handy to use that way so the magnets do the job very well.  :)

Well more rain for today and tomorrow, guess it means more shop time, Miss Joanie's sister passed Sunday so got that to deal with this evening and tomorrow, she was a very sweet girl that has had a tough couple of years, she is in a better place now and we know that, but will still be missed. :(

So sorry to hear about Miss Joanie's sister passing. Please give her a hug for me, Pappy and tell her she's in my thoughts.
