Thanks Guys, went to visit him today and as we all know he is growing like a weed. I have had a great couple of weeks, been at the cabin most of it, started the first week with just me and my local friends but later had several good friends show up to hunt and fellowship for a week. Very good friends and a very good time I think was had by all. Here are a few pictures of the last couple of weeks. Started out skinning the buck I got and processing him and another doe I shot a few day earlier . Shawn and his friend Mark also had a couple of deer to work up so we just made a day of fun out of it.Love doing that stuff. :)

Had a 184 lb. buck given to me so boned the meat and Jesse put the hide on the rack. Getting a good supply of sinew. ;) :) :) Eddie showed up first and he went straight to work on a Hack berry bow. :)

I made some head way on My new grandson's bow and Shawn and I done another splice on a pair of some old billets he had. We are still learning but getting better with each one. :)

I also broke out some of mine. Chris/Shane and Tyler showed up and got to hunt for the first time in 14 degree weather, they handled it pretty well for boys use to hunting in the 80's. :)

We got about an inch of snow so I worked on hides in the middle of the day and they had lots of fire time. Shane and Tyler brought a couple blanks the bought from James Parker at the Classic and worked on them between hunts. ;) Everyone stayed busy and had fun. ;)

We ate good every night but one really special night was Gator, and man do the boys know how to cook that. Shawn was there most every day between hunts working on projects and helping out with theirs where he could. ;) He helps me out a lot around there and it is very much appreciated. :)

Jesse and Drew showed up, Drew working on some spoon's to play and Jesse doing a euro mount for Jimmy Blackman's son's deer. also we have another Mark [getting lots of Mark's around there ] that has been coming around making his first bow. He comes down about once a week and is making some head way on it.I hooked him up with a 20 year old piece of Osage so should make a fine bow. ;)

Jesse's head all fleshed, he also brought us some wood fro Hawaii , not sure whet he called it , but is is pretty and very dense. Should make some fine projects out of it. Mark's bow about ready for the form and Shawn making some he way on his latest Osage. :)

Mark's bow on the form. Shawn cutting in the handle on his and one of my special gal's, One of our club members grand daughter got her hunters ed. certificate , she was so proud and had to bring it over to show me, I am very proud of her and love seeing the kids get involved. Then Chuck showed up, he has been working 7 days a week and I haven't seen him is a good while, great seeing him again. :)

Dave O also got his first Coyote with a long bow and Chris got his first deer with Traditional equipment, now for a selfbow. ;) Eddie had some opportunities but didn't score but I think he had a great time. Shane didn't get a shot but some close encounters so all it all it was a lot of first's and just a great week to be in God's creation. Hope yall enjoy I know I did. ;) :) Life is Good.
