Hey Burn em up. That knife was very nice. I need to get a blank from you to make a drop point. I really like that weight knife but I need alittle more curved edge going back for me so you have more cutting edge as you draw the knife rearward as in skinning. Cant wait to see that forge and a big coal pile at the shed!!!!!

You bet Guy, think of you often. Hope our paths pass again soon. ;) :) Chuck it works fine, as someone said a little smaller might do some better, I only used it to start the hide then fist it off if I plan on tanning it, but for normal skinning where you would use a knife all the way down it should do fine. Well it's Friday and beginning to seem like every other day ??? except I head to the Cabin to stay for a day or 2 and that is where I am headed in a few minutes. ;) I plan on hunting this morning, no hunting Tomorrow or Sunday, it is our youth hunt weekend in Tennessee. I only have 1 coming but it should still be fun. I have plenty to keep me busy while he and his dad our out hunting. I need to skin another deer and cut and wrap the one I have boned in the cooler. I also started another bow from Elm I need to get floor tillered and on the form and the hide I have racked should be ready to get the hair off. ;) Should be a fun weekend. Hope yall have a good one also. Life is Good. ;) :)

Congrats on the deer, Mark. i want to you tell you my brother Tom passed away Friday afternoon. As you know he has been battling cancer for about 2 years. and the beginning of the month started going down hill. If you could let Miss Joanie and some of the older members that new him know. He always wanted to come back down to Classic. Hope to see you soon. BDan

Great day , yesterday in the stand. I saw 12 doe and 4 bucks and unlike me I passed 2 doe and a broke horn buck, guess you are right Pat, to much time on my hands. I saw 2 nice bucks running doe so just decided to wait on them, I will probably be kicking myself in a few weeks for passing. ;) :) Here are a few pictures of the passed weekend, it was a good time with some good eating and some good time in the shop. ;) My girls loving the deer season. Hide and rack from the 7 point. ;)
