Alex showed up for a visit and worked on a very rough Osage stave. Chuck with another hawk. GregB and Allen with the raffle knife for the Classic finished. :)Very nice work.

Chuck and Bill trimming up the Osage they split. Megan won a trophy from the last shoot we went to, so Dwayne brought it by the club and then hung out and shot for a while.

Alex finished the weekend working on an old shot gun . My rum flask all sealed up and ready to give to Beau. :)Deer Back strap for supper with beans and cornbread

and Sally just hanging out hoping we will drop something.

Pappy: I like the new hats and mug. I sent a couple of horns to you Sat. We have no snow so been in the hills hunting sheds. Found some wolf kills and some last years sheds and several sets of elk ivories. What do you do with all the hides you tan? Joe

Just saving them up right now Joe, have had a shirt/coat made out of some and traded or gave away a few.

Hope the better half is getting along better now, keep me posted.

Looks like another great weekend at Twin Oaks pappy! Once again, wish I could join in on the fun. I'm going to have to give you a call sometime and talk about your brain tanning. The way you do it seems to be a good way for me to do it as well. I never have time to spend on one thing that long. Thanks for sharing, life is good!

Any time Patrick, I got the one I started Friday almost dried yesterday, great day for it ,pretty warn low humidity and light wind [prefect] that's 4 , guess I need to start some final smoking this weekend if I get a chance between getting ready for our 2 day open shoot we have coming up on the 19th and 20th of this month.

Seem there is always something to change my plan.
