Chuck making me laugh as he does a lot. ;) Me putting a sinew wrap on the handle of his bow,he didn't want to do the chewing and I don't mind it a bit. :)

Bill working on another ax head we found up in my wood while setting a target range at the IBO world shoot, no telling how old it is, it only has a forgers mark, no name. Chuck gave the thumbs up on my fireman's ax. :)

Ax head ready to be mounted and My Osage off the form and ready to tiller. Case brought in a nice Doe, that boy loves to hunt and is stacking them up this year.

Great weekend, then I get an email from some good friends in Crested Bute Colorado, Sam the oldest of Teddy's 2 boys took a nice Elk. With wheels but nice elk all the same. They are 2 really good well mannered young men that I think the world of. ;) :) Congrats Sam, yall come back to visit and kill off some of these Turkey I have. ;) :) Like I said great time with good friends and beautiful sunrise. :) Got to love that. ;) :) Life is Good.  :)

Ya Chuck crack everyone up. I told someone Saturday I way like Wyatt Earp on Tombstone when he was ask why he keeps Doc. Holiday around, he said he makes me laugh, now that ant the only reason We keep Chuck around but it does help, he is also a very good cook. ;) :) :) Had a great evening hunt, still no shots but seen 13 doe and 24 turkey, I don't think I was in the stand 15 minutes before seeing the first deer and seen them plum till dark, they just didn't want to come close enough to play. ??? about 50 yards is as close as they got. They seem to know I have a selfbow. ??? Maybe today  :-\ Also got another ax handle started, this one will be out of Osage and should be cool if it works out.   :)

You are welcome Chief,glad you enjoy. Got an email from Davy a good friend  from NY some of you know from the Classic [ bow shop ] he and Hole in the bow Chuck are coming down to hunt and visit the week after Christmas, can't wait, Gary usually comes also and it is a great time :).Matt was supposed to come but life got in the way :( we will miss him for sure. Davy also sent a picture of a nice 8 he took in NY with his hand gun. Congrats Davy. Nice deer. Maybe we can eat some of him while you are in Tennessee. ;)

Great job Davey!  I've always wanted to take a deer with a handgun.  Yep, I too am disappointed not being able to visit during Christmas.  One day, I'll make it.
