Dave ,you going out west ? Got some shooting in last evening and started the process of winterizing the cabin and Club,also sharpened on some broad heads,headed back to the stand today or tommorrow depending on the weather. :) :) Can't mope around forever. ;) ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Guys,that's my plan. :) Went yesterday and the woods were dead,still good to be back in a stand,saw 1 squirrel and 1 coon about dark,the white oaks were dropping and had a couple of them big thumb size acorns hit me in the head and arm, man they hurt. ;) ;D ;D Headed to the cabin early today for a couple more days of hunting,the weather is supposed to be very nice 40's 60's and clear for the next few days. Got some much needed rain this morning but is supposed to be gone by noon. :) Jon/Allen/Dan[Jon's brother] are coming in also. Allen is bringing some Elk stew Yum yum from the Elk he took out west a couple of weeks ago for supper tonight. Maybe a little bow/knife work in the middle of the day and after dark but other than that just hunting and relaxing. :) Hope yall have a good one. :) See ya Monday. ;) :) Life is Good. :) :)

Beautiful weekend,no deer for me but several brought in to the Club,and had a big doe gave to me.
Always appreciate that. Didn't hunt but twice but the weather was great. Got a lot of shooting in and some work in the shop. I use to hunt every spare second I had,almost like a job,now I hunt when I feel like it and just didn't this weekend. Here are some pictures of the fun. :) Jimmy was down Friday and Paul drove in from ILL. to visit and do some shooting,the bow I made him that he won the world with is still standing straight and shooting good for him. :) Pretty humbling to me shooting with 2 world class shooters. :-[

Some shooting from our platform stand,nice range with about 8 or 10 targets you can shoot at.    Dan [ I think is his name] awful with names :-\] came down to finish his Osage and also brought another ventage Bear Bow. Very good shape,Eddie can you tell me about this one. ;) :)

Fun around the fire Friday night. :) Will doing some form work,Art and Josiah show up Saturday morning,the young and the old all just blend together down here. Some shop work getting done. :) :)

Jeff shows up Saturday to work on his Osage. Chuck and Will working on some glue ups. Jon doing more tip work. Jeff W a good friend brings me a big doe,not sure why he don't want them but kind  of glad he don't. :) ;) ;)I can always use them. :)
