I had a bow pull apart in the handle like that because I think the handle was to thin. It didn't bend till it pulled apart and the upper limb like folded over when the handle area separated kind of like popping a glued on handle.

Wow ,to bad.I have had them do that on the form when trying to bend a hum out close to the handle,never had one do that while shooting. :(
