I've not seen any problems in my experiences. When I was first starting out years ago, I used whatever feather I could find - turkey, pigeon, chicken, goose. I even put some feathers on backwards, just so that the curvature would all be the same on the arrow, and used several diferent combinations. They all flew just as good as my all-right or all left wing secundary turkey feathered arrows do now. Just make sure they are all curved the same, trim to equal size, and use whatever you got!
