   I made lots of wing bone calls thruogh the years.One thing I use to do when I'd run out of turkey wings off birds I killed.I go to the store and but turkey wings.These are bigger than wild birds they'll work fine.And make a different sounds.Best to use wild hens there the softest and sweetest calls I think.

crooketarrow,yor right on the money about the wold hen wings for calls
but i like keeping three with me at all times,tom,jake and hen
ya jusy nevr know what kinda mood they are in,some times one or two wont work to get a peep out of the old toms
but ya  blow on third one and that can set them off like mad

if I am going to wrap a call at the joints, I take a little drywall mud, and pack it in around the joints to make it a smoother transistion to the next bone. after it drys sand smooth and wrap, just remember not to get it wet  when out it the woods
