Sinew/Yew 59"
« on: February 02, 2010, 03:05:37 am »

Started this bow 4 years ago, came from a pretty marginal piece of yew (had some nice waves in it but also some checking)   hope the sinews dry.  It's the only thing holding it together! This was a short billet i think 32" split and glued at the handle. To cold to fish right now so I figured I'd finish this one up.

Hmmm, I wouldn't full draw this bow until the sinews are really dry!

1oneeye,

It's a marvelous bow from a "marginal yew."  Your full draw pic.s look picture perfect.

You've got some real craftsmanship in this bow. Bookmarked, too, for Feb Self Bow of the Month fun.
