"Scrap" Knappin'
« on: January 30, 2010, 06:23:41 pm »
The 'ol rock pile's gettin slim lately so I've been digging in the scrap pile and working big flakes and chunky pieces.  I got every one of this handful from "scrap" rock.

The little point beside the Dovetail was a thinning flake from that point.  It's covered with flake scars on both sides and a little thicker than a quarter.  I think it took me longer to make it than it did the Dove.

I know how that is Dana :(
I've actually had bows on my mind lately. I've got plenty of good dry wood to scrape on when I do get in the mood. ;D
