about ten years ago i saw one dead on the side of the highway here in texas, between emory and mineola.  i wouldnt have believed it myself.  i thought it was a dog, but it had that extra long tail, i knew exactly what it was

That's  really sad IMO. I would love to see one , and around my parts they are so rare.

Hawk:  We have had a lion hanging around for some time now and he killed a deer next to the neighbor's house and hauled it up a tree to eat.  Never knew that they would do that.  The neighbor has little kids so that are packing!  Lots of cats this year!  Joe
