Well, I got to add the arrow rest - graduated leather strips, and wrap the handle with 1/8" leather lace. I opted for a Hill style grip.
In order to get pics up here, I had to compromise detailed shots. I wish I was more computer / camera saavy !! All in all, the bow performs well. Very light mass wise, although the Ash is a bit on the thick side for a backing. It is my first experience with Ipe, and I
learned a lot!! I'm going to make some Hickory backing strips, and may try a Bamboo backing at some point. 70" ntn and draws an honest 65#@ 27".
