 Nathan great input on the toxins of Laburnum. I do think the seasoned wood can have a variety of effects as Medicinewheel says. I know for me the dust made my eyes swell and Itch and I got sore throats everytime I was sanding it even though I wearing a respirator.

Voted for you!  Diligence a close second.  Love the simple elegance, the gorgeous tiller, the smooth finish, the sapwood/heartwood contrast, and the takedown aspect is icing on the cake.  Much respect.

Thanks guys! My wife's billets are drying now, should get started on them about April time. In the mean time I'm working on 3 bows, a yew, buckthorn and rowan ash elb style bows. Ill post some pics soon!!

Beautiful bow.  Nice clean lines, great tiller and great finish.  Sounds like it cures like locust, only with locust, you can't get away with using the sapwood.  Congratulations on an awsome bow.

Wow! That's a gorgeous bow! And the great thing about Laburnum is it'll turn a really beautiful chocolatey dark brown with age... yummm
