Put these together, they are the first good set of arrows I made. Port orford cedar shafts spined out at 55-60. Comments

Great looking set of arrows. My first ones,,,,,,hundreds of years ago did not look that good. How do they shoot?

Nicely done Swimbil. I like seeing you have wrapped the forward end of the fletching. Good for shooting off your knuckle.

Thanks, they fly great, usually it is my aim that is bad. I wrapped the ends of the fletches to keep them from coming off, my glue job was not great.

I got an arrow kit for Christmas. I haven't gotten around to wrapping the leading edge of my fletching yet, but I have found it to be a good practice to add to durability, and to keep from getting cuts in my bow hand as well.
I found that dental floss and superglue work remarkably like sinew/artificial sinew.
