Thanks everybody, hopefully I can post the finished bow this weekend.  Del, I probably am not gonna make any arrows yet for this one I have a few that fly great from it but I DID make a dandy key chain with one of the other limb tips!   I am trying to salvage everything I can from the two broken bows.     -josh

Okay, never actually read the novel, but my wife teaches it in her gothic literature course, so I know the storyline.

Thanks for the kind gesture, Rich but I bought the board from a hardwood sawmill and cut the blank out of it myself.  I don't think the hardwood place will refund me the money because they sell the boards for decking I think.  Can't really hold them responsible since they weren't selling it as bow wood.    But thank you that was really kind!    -josh
