My latest project is a hickory backed jatoba board bow. I'm hoping to get 70#'s from this one and I need to be really careful on the tillering. When you guys begin tillering, do you simply work the entire limb, or the inner 1/3 or the outer 1/3 first? So far in my 15-20 bows under my belt, I have just started by working the entire limb and fine tuning it as I see problems develop. Is there a more preferred method?
Thanks in advance!
