This is the bow I had on for a tiller check acouple weeks ago...Osage self bow, 64" tip to tip, 40lbs @28" but is tillered to 30"....just a simple bow for my grandfather, I was going to leave it straight and then to gain a few lb's i decided to flip the tips a little and heat temper the belly...it is a really fun bow to shoot, no hand shock and very quick for such a light weight. He doesn't know that it is his yet...I had him shoot it and told him that it was for a friend and he really liked it...Im planning on giving it to him for Xmas this year as a surprise. He doesn't really hunt but he loves to fish and has been wanting one so we could bowfish together.....the leather grip is just a chamois i picked up at walmart (and im not the best at sewing but I did the best I could) and then i decided to cut up an old leather glove to make a floppy rest....enjoy.

P.S. I almost forgot to add this...I am really happy to even get this bow to the shooting stage let alone finished...the stave only cost me $15 on ebay and when i got it, it was not in good shape...it had a lot of drying cracks....but hey now i have a $15 fun bow to shoot to give to my grandpa!
