THANKS ALOT GUYS...one of my troubles with vm is the nodes...and this was one of my questions for keenan also...it had some thick ones and i didn't want to rasp in one spot and hinge it...so,it was take a little wood here and leave a little there...tillering can be a love-hate game..john

Looks good! The stain reminds me alot of what my mountain maple bows look like, the two must be very similar. Never tried vm though.

That is one great lookin bow.  The cord is an accomplishment in itself.  Gonna have to try that - thanks for posting.
