Steelplate penetration test

Hi!

I made some penetration tests with a 1mm (3/64 inch) steel plate.
I used a 40# rattanbow with 440grain arrows and bullet field points.

Very interesting post.  I'm curious about your rattan bow.  Have you posted about this bow, here, or elsewhere, in the past?  I'm curious to know about it's details.  I'm thinking rattan may be good for experimenting with in my climate.

Suprises  me  40#  would  penetrate  at  all:) Wonder  how  fast those rattan  limbs  are?

i love your youtube site man.  that's like the 2nd or 3rd time one of the traditional bow sites sent me to watch one of your vids.  watching the flex in those other videos you have posted on longbows was very enlightening on my own bowyering work. keep posting stuff!
