lost one

shot a good buck yesterday at 4 pm had blood like it was poured on the ground out of a jug for bout 150 200 yards and it is gone? good hit left shoulder, i looked till 11.3o last night and for bout 3 hours today nothing. sad times.
a drawn bow is a stick 9/10 broken

Go back out in a week or so...you'll probably smell him  :-\  same thing happened to me last year

Sorry to hear about the lost deer.  Any chance of tracking dogs in your area.  I'm not sure if that is legal in your part of the country.  Some states are a bit touchy on that.

we used a dog last night not to good of a dog went back again today got bout 7 hours in today just looking every where but no luck yet, as much as he bleed there is some toes up somewhere. i wont give up. not good to eat sad to say but at least maybe i can get the horns.

Could he have ran out near a road...I know we have a really big problem with road hunters in our area...my dad has lost a few bucks because they ran towards the road and got shot and taken by road hunters

the closest road is bout 3/4 mile and he couldnt make it that far. iam just over looking him or something, ray charles could follow this blood, so i dont know i think i just got 1 lung i just cant figure out the blood stoping. ill find him one day we hog hunting with dogs 2moro so maybe then.

any creeks or other water sources in the area?  i'd walk these to if the buck went for water.
