Ash Flatbow Lumi Kaar
« on: November 01, 2009, 12:31:16 pm »
Hi!

This one is an Ashbow I made for my girlfriend.
It shoots without any handshock and is very comfortable to draw. The slight recurve opens at full draw.

It is 69 inches long
Tips are 1,57 inches wide
30# @ 24”, can be drawn to 29”
Tempered belly
Tips made of buffalo horn
The handle is made of cherry heartwood
The winding on the handle is made of hempcord.

Nice bow, Matthias but I would have thought your girlfriend would have been prettier than that! ;D

That's on the downside; other than that it's a nice bow!

That looks excellent  Let me ask, your clothes - haven't seen that before, is that traditional to your area?  Just curious.
