A Wiley One....
« on: October 26, 2009, 12:01:41 am »
Took this fellar this morning. I got back a climbing stand from my brother while I was in TN and thought I would give it a try. I was only in the stand for about 20 minutes when this big guy came running under me. Took him at about 8 yards on the run. Hit him square between the shoulders...no tracking on this one!

Good shot!  I'd hafta make something with his hide.
I see lots of yotes, but they're tough to get a shot on.
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

Good job Chad! I've had several shots at coyotes over the years and haven't been able to put it together yet. :)

Wow Nice Job!  I heard those eastern yoters are some of the toughest in the country to get...and that's with the latest high tech gizmos that most predator hunters are prone to use.  Congrats!

Thanks, y'all. I seem to get shots (or almost get shots) at these guys every year..... Too many of them around, I guess. Not easy to connect, though...
