I can sleep now that it is there in one piece. Well actually two, but in the correct number of pieces.

I'm glad you like it Auggie, that is the longest blade I have ever made and my first attempt at scrimshaw.
Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the reason is you made a bad decision.

Starting to get a bit worried about the gift I sent.
It has been, on the road, for some time now.
It could be snowed in someplace.  It had to go north.
However, the USPS has never let me down.

I sent mine last tuesday USPS priority but have not heard whether it has been received yet. I hope it made it there OK.

Coyote088 is who I made a gift for, and she has been a great sport about the delay. She is in Canada, and I'm pretty sure my gift never made it through customs. :( I feel aweful, and am bummed about this.

Plan B is to make another gift, minus the feathers, which may be why it didn't make it. which I will do as soon as we are sure it isn't going to make it.

I wonder how the real Saint Nicholas gets around customs restictions?
