Okie.  I am not sure of what kind of root it is.  He told me in a note that it was from this area.   Maybe /12 primitive will chime in and can answer you.

Nope, I'm not sure what the root is either. Most of the info that I know about the thing is summed up in one sentence: it was found somewhere on the east coast.

All right, the camera situation is now worked out, and here are some pictures of me with he knife.

I am FAR more pleased with it than I look like in the pictures.

It looks like the gifts are all out or about to be all out!! Wahoo!!

One last thing...if you have received a gift and have not said anything, please at least tell the person who sent it that you have recieved it!!! Everyone spent a lot of time and thought into these gifts, let's rememeber to acknowledge and thank the sender!!
