4 fletch question
« on: October 15, 2009, 12:00:52 am »
i'm going to try a few arrows with 4-fletch, but i have a question, should the fletching be perpendicular and parallel to the nock/string like this:

   |
--O--
   |

or should they be offset from the nock by 45 degrees like this:

\    /
  O
/    \

I know the diagrams aren't perfect but you get the idea right? i'm guessing the second option would have less interferance with the shelf, just wanted to check.

thanks, Dan.

Hi,
I've used the 45 degree and they work just fine.

I too would use the 45 degree....won't contact the Bow as bad....keeps Paralax to a Minimum
