Thanks guys - I couldn't honestly call this a Holmegaard. It is, I think, a flatbow - with Holmegaard like lever tips. Those levers are only 6 inches with another two for the fades, not so far from the design of a flatbow, really. The tiller is definitely more like a flatbow. I like this design, it definitely reduces tip mass but is practical and uncomplicated to make. It's a zippy shooter too. The length and design did well with hickory and heat treating. I'd shot this bow probably 200 times before finishing it and giving it to him. It took some follow, but less than an inch after resting. A healthy bow with low vibration and no draw noise.
