Dang burn it!!

Well, been getting sinew from a buddy who has taken five deer this season (gun hunter-shoulders gave out for bow hunting)...scraped the meat off and worked the sinew into nice strips...had it in a baggy by my chair...so last night Sally the Catahoula slipped down and had her a snack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I sat down this morning with my cup of coffee in my granddad's old chair and looked at that torn up zip lock bag wondering where it came from and then realized it was my sinew bag!!!!  I finally had enough to wrap this bow and another too....argggh!!!  Can you wrap cracks with silk thread?  Sure hope I can get some more sinew.  Maybe I will luck out and take my own deer this week!!!

Send me a PM with your address and I'll send you some sinew. You need to get this one in the field.

Thanks Tommy,

My buddy got another doe last night so I am fixed up...will keep the newly worked sinew out of the Catahoula's reach!!!  Really appreciate the offer.
