21.5 ounce by Mass principle you are 0,5 ounce under if your bow weighs 21.

Thats perfect!

I don't think the Mass principle is totally bulletproof, It's not like Einsteins formula, but interresting. The chronograph should be a more precise evidence of bows features.

I was not Knocking Hickory at all just agreeing bout the moisture thing.  Looks like your skill level is more than ready for osage,  I consider osage far easier to get a high quality selfbow from than hickory.  I would just go for it.  Ps that is not me in the photo, that is Big Trey out of Lake Jackson Texas.
