Those are awesome David! Wish I coulda been with you to see those myself, and do some knapping with you! Hopefully the economy will turn around, I'll get a killer job that pays me well, and I'll be able to come back out and visit soon!

Look forward to it Billy! Yeah, wish you could have seen them in the museum. I think we could get some cool replicas made. Think You might try to do some like these. The Ivory and bone points look pretty neat!

Stickbender I did think about that also we get a turkey tag about every 5 years I got three left to wait.
I should have enough to do one of each. I'll have to go to build alongs for some plans.Good idea

Stoker, I had been thinking about making a caller, using a coconut for the box resonator. Clean it up and scorch it and sand it down a bit. Then fit the slate on top, and make a couple of slits on the bottom, for the sound to come out. I might have to experiment with it to see what is the best place for the sound hole, and the size, style, slit, round hole, etc. I think it would make a neat sounding turkey caller.
