Vacation
« on: September 17, 2009, 10:46:46 am »
Got to take a couple weeks off work and beat the heat. After the Flint Ridge Knapp-in( very cool) and a couple days on my buddy's farm the wife, dog and me made our way to central Vermont. Our daughter and family have a place up in the hills .While everyone's at school and work I bust rock,I mean it is a vacation right?I set up my tent out by the small barn ,just me and the chickins'

There's a local glass blower does nice work,so I showed him what glass is for

I knapped out a half dozen huntin' points to trade a fellow for one of his carvings

I bought a bunch of burlington at the knapp-in so I spalled it out to save some room and weight for the trip home,1600 miles.I did finish a few points out but only a few days left so I 'm putting stuff back in the truck.

Then I ran into this fella kinda quiet guy I think he was lookin' for deer so I looked for awhile,a couple turkeys but no deer

See ya Bone pile
