Thanks Jawge
« on: September 01, 2009, 09:49:48 pm »
I want to thank George for a lot of help and patience. I decided to try to make a bow from a maple tree I cut down. I emailed George for ideas on layout ect. He not only gave me great info but gave me the idea of making a board bow while drying the maple. Being totally new to all of this I asked many questions and got lots of help in return. Wonderful guidance!! Long story short, I test shot my first self-made bow tonight! Wow, it shot beautifully. Not totally finished but things are looking great. This site and you guys are really helpful, knowledgeable and entertaining. Thanks to all for helping me to start this journey.

But, Special Thanks to George for all his assistance. George your site and you are the best!

Yep, George got me started on making bows. Without him I would have given in and bought a glass bow. I now hold him responsible for my addiction!

You're definitely leaving your mark George...and that is by passing this great knowledge and privilege on to others...that's making a difference in a positive way.  ;)

I think of Jawge as a real evangelical when it comes to this sport.  Always a-preachin' and a-teachin'.

Hey Jawge?  Thanks for all you do.  And thanks to the rest of you in the community out there, too.
