Rainmaker, Ash ELB

Hi,
This is one of four Ash ELB's that I made in the last two weeks or so.
I had three friends come back from the Gulf and they wanted to make some ELB's after they had a chat with some french guys they were posted with.
They wanted something that they could play around with and didn't matter to much if it took a knocking around.
So I said that I had lots of ash that they could play with if they wanted too.
This is the one I made and named Rainmaker as it seems to rain when I bring it out,it even started to rain as the photo's were taken. After a long sunny clear day..
It is 78in nock to nock and 110lb at 28in.













The last photo is of some arrows that I made for them and me to use with the bows.

Thats a powerfull bow Cromm !!!  Good tiller, but thats all I can see! need some better pictures..... . closer up.  The arrows look good too.  how did you make those points and how does the bow perform

The tiller is great! The aprt of the back I can see looks to have some ru off though. Jawge

The camera that I am using isn't too good. The good one was dropped into the loo by my 2 year old son....That's my boy!!

Looks really nice Cromm but at 110 lbs all I can say is ouch!!!

Your bow turned out really nice! If you shot 50 arrows or so out of it during one session, you'd have had quite a workout!  ;D

great looking bow cromm,the bodkin points look very good too.mega poundage though I think I,d need a week off work after using that bow!!

Well It took me a while to figure out rainmaker was the bow. Must have something to do with my age. If was 18 yrs I'd look good shooting that bow too, but since I'm not I'd probably collapse a lung. Really pretty grain, to say the least. Nice pofile and tiller, and I love the bodkins they look like they were a major project alone. Keep scraping and I thought you had eyes in the back of your head to watch the little scrappler that dipped your  bow in the loo. Your friend Denny
