beautiful bow.  excellent workmanship.  i'm not surprised it outshoots the recurves  ;D  it is a brilliant design (and one of the oldest known to man, which i find particularly intriguing  ;D)

 I like that design. I seem to be doing that the more I work with bamboo backing.

Thanks for the compliments and advice and some one asked what glue I used , it was epoxy, I felt that the tips could be thinned Marc but I,m a bit nervous about it!!!

I've just sealed it with a few coats of Danish oil, I usually use varnish but it is so damp over here the background moisture goes thru the varnish then you cant get it out again!  I'm hoping this oil will let the bow breath  more and not just trap moisture! this a big problem for me !!! Any advice anyone out there? I'll post another pic soon with the handle decoration.  Didnt get many votes for bow of the month , but I'll bet it outshoots them all >:D

That is one sweet holmegaard!!  How did you make a bow that has so little working limb have absolutely NO string follow?  ???  ???  I can't even seem to make a bow with 32"of working limb on both top and bottom have less than an inch of stringfollow.  Great work!    :)   -josh
