Hey Guy's,
This is my first post, but I've been reading for a while. Would finishing a bow with a oil base stain effect it in any way?

Oil based stain should work fine. You will have to let it dry completely before adding the sealer.

I used an oil based stain on my last hickory bow and it is still shooting fine. Took forever for it to dry though...

its good but like they say let it dry. i stained a bow and used tru oil on it 2 days later and it will lift the stain a little.
