a man at MOJAM suggested to me the use of toilet cleaner (in the crystal form, dissolved in water) to bring the aged look much further into the light to darkish brown stage

Great job Dave!!
I have never been in a sport or hobbie where people are so giving.  Not only with knowledge but with materials.  It makes me proud to be envolved and to know some of you fine gents.

Beautiful job on the bow, and a great gesture! I'm sure the gift of this bow will be a bright spot in an otherwise difficult time for him...

I'm sure it will provide a distraction and some pleasure.  That's important.  I really admire it, well done, sir.

Nice gesture and nice bow.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!
