Question for Mojam
« on: July 13, 2009, 12:30:26 pm »
I just talked to Gary Davis and he had planed to come.He has run into a little problem[a stent]
that he has to have done this week and don't know if he can make it.He has some stave's for
some boy scouts and wondered if anyone from MI. was going that he could send the stave's with
in case he can't make it.That was the first question. The 2nd is there anyone from NC going. He has a guy that needs some help with a stave and has offered one of his blanks if someone would help this older gentleman with his.The guy that needs the help in from Leicesper NC. Let me know if anyone can help. I think the fellow that needs the help has Cancer and just can't seem to get the bow the way he wants it.

Wow, Gary always looks fit as a fiddle too.  We'll sure miss him if he doesn't show.  Tell him to have them back that stent with sinew, I know he favors a self-stent but it is good insurance.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of help for Mr. Swan.

Pappy, there is always 15-20 guys gathered around the pavilion making shavings,I'm sure someone will be there to help him out.

Hope Gary recovers well. Tell him he needs to get off that dang Dr Pepper!  ;)

Pappy, if he's from Leicester, NC, that's really near me and Pat-maybe we can get him to one of our local get-togethers in the next few weeks if he doesn't get it finished up at MOJAM.

Sure hope Gary is OK... I was going to bring my braizer this year so he could have a campfire to sit by.

If you talk to him tell him we wish him well and hope he can make it.

Indeed Gary will be missed if he can not make.  He is largely responsible for mojam being what it is.  But, when you talk to him tell him his health comes first and we wish him well.  keith

Thanks guys,He is going in today and should get out Thursday and don't think the doc.will let him drive that far.Steve ,David talked to Gary and kind of offered you,Pat and himself to help the fellow out.Gary sends his thanks,I think the Gentleman is in the later stages of his cancer and really wants to build a bow.I told Gary  not to worry he could count on this bunch. :) I think he is getting the stave to David, they worked that out.
