Mike, looks like a good solid arrow. I like the way you wrapped the point, feathers, and nock. The fletching looks like it will spin the arrow quite fast. Very cool arrow overall!

For field points, I've used homemade steel trade points (unsharpened). They work well as long as you don't hit wood (they are hard to pull out). If you hit a rock, the tip will curl but you can hammer it straight again.
Also, you can insert a bamboo skewer, cut it off flush, and wrap the tips with wire, sinew, or thread....using plenty of glue.
