need info on dyeing bamboo
« on: November 27, 2009, 10:37:43 pm »
Well I built that bow for the youngster Christmas Bow,and it wasnt long after ,like the next day there was a knock on my door. A guy that I dont know asking me how much to make one for him. This one I would like to do the leather dye on the bamboo istead of paint. Any information would be helpful thanks

Dennis, you will have to remove the rind for the boo to accept the dye. You can scrape or sand it off.

Like Pat said, make sure  you remove the rind, I've had luck with Feibings leather dye.
