Your bows definitely have unique look.  The tiller looks spot on.  :) Can't say as I care for the way the grip looks with that squarish looking piece of osage glued on there but if it feels and shoots good to for you I guess that's all that really matters.  ;)  Sorry, not trying to be critical just a observation.  :) Square edges on wooden bows are a pet peeve of mine.....lol.  ::) I like everything smooth and flowing on my bows.   :)

I have to admit, when I first started seeing burnies bows, I didn't care for the block of wood either,  but I have got used to it, and it is unique and I like that.  Same reason I like Dave Knights bows.

Would this be more of the style  you like?




I built this bow for someone else who has more of your taste. ;)  I personally do not like the shallow palm rests, that is why I make my personal bows with big ones.  I do appreciate the kind words and constructive critisism. ;)



Thanks to all of you for the kind words.  I truly appreicate it. I did get to go to Odessa to visit a friend and shoot some three Ds with this bow.  I really like the way this bow shoots.  I also got a chance to do a little rabbit hunting.  Got three rabits with it.  Really didnt go out to do some rabbit hunting, it just worked out that way.  A storm rolled in and got the critters moving.

I got a chance to really shoot her this last weekend.  Went to a buddies three-d range and slung some arrows.  I really like the way this bow shoots.  Even got a chance to do a little rabbit hunting.  I know its not the weather for it, but while walking the range, we jumped 4 rabbits.  My buddy shot one and I shot the other three.  We cleaned them up and plan on using them to bait up a trout line.  Im thinking of using the skins to cover a quiver.
