A thousand years in the making

I stopped by a tobacco patch yesterday to see what I could find.  I picked up a few broken pieces and one little thumb scraper. I also picked up a small chunk of some kind of grainy chert.  It had a worked edge around 3 sides, but was about 2" thick and square edged on the forth side. I guess the feller that spalled it out decided it wasn't worth finishing... He didn't have copper ;) ;D
 I took it home and finished what he started.
 Once I got into the rock, it was actually kinda pretty.

That is a purty point "banded" and does look awfully grainy. Turned out really nice.
