Pink is for girls?
« on: May 19, 2009, 06:36:44 pm »
Not in this case.(well sorta) ;) I unloaded the kiln this morn, and found a lot of this. It really took some color, and as soon as I seen it I knew what I was gonna do with it. I have a friend whose wife is a cancer survivor. Seems everything she has that pertains to the outdooes is pink.I figured this would fit right in? 600 degree burlington.

Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

I actually aimed to take the temp up to 550, but my  new chickens got out and ...well ya know. It was 614 when I got  back to it. Didn't hurt it none. I think this local burlington will go to 650 but I haven't ramped tha high. Got a few more small pieces of this stuff.

Probly save it foe somethin special. Thanks all. ;)

Those that haven't had the opportunity to see he and Marty do those points with rocks, bones and antlers have missed out on a really good lesson.
Really nice Bud!
