Ya they can be a little tricky sometime,I relate it a lot like a highly reflexed stave ,they will fool you on the weight really easy and you really have to keep an eye on the tiller in the curves they will fool you and hinge very easy in them spots.
Sometime like you I get to many going myself.I try and mark them good before I put them up with weight and where I am in the tillering stage,braced or
draw length so if I don't get back to them for a while I know where to start.
I hope to get this one on the form this weekend and maybe start tillering.
