Thanks again fellers :). It was fun to make and like all the knappers that have inspired me - I'm still lookin at the thing thinking I coulda hit this ridge or that and got it a little thinner :D. Maybe on the next one. Yup Otoe, it's georgetown. All different grades of the stuff on this guys place, think I've got all the big one's picked up.

You need to take a trip to Lower Michigan...they have Ryolite Deposits there...or go backpacking in the Porcupine Mountains....they have Felsite there too...but I don't know if you can take any...but it all over White Pine Michigan too

Well, I wasn't wearing camo and all these vaqueros down here carry snake charmers or some kinda gun. I just had that hair standing on the back of the neck feeling and ran ;D.
